WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON THE NET.......It's Christmas....go open your presents!

Eat Christmas cookies, watch football games, stuff yourself with turkey, ham, goose, cranberry sauce, stuffing, green been casserole....plum pudding(?), and eggnog.

Call your parents and wake them up at the crack of dawn, like you did when you were little...ah maybe not....they might not like hearing their adult children saying things like "Wake up mom, Nan....look it snew!"

But then again, they were probably not up all night putting toys together, so they might be rested and just dying to be awakened to hear what Santa brought.

Whatever else you do, wish all those who touch your life a joyous season, whatever they celebrate, take the time to hug one another, and bless all of you, whoever, and wherever you are and thank you for bringing joy into my life and the life of everyone reading whatever you type, post, and share.

December Wish

On this joyous season, remember days gone by...
Memories of sleighs and reindeer flying high in the sky.
Of a big jolly man in a red velvet suit...
And happy young children , so chubby and cute.
The smells of the season, cookies, pies and much more,
And presents made by Santa and not from the store.
Wen families gather without one unkind word..
And only good tidings and carols are heard.
My wish for you bloggers,
For whatever it's worth,
Good tidings, best wishes,and
Peace here on Earth.

Childhood memories

Sometimes you get a song stuck in your head, mostly it annoys the ____ out of you. This is one of the other songs. You know the ones that live in the back of your mind and bring a smile to your lips and a twinkle in your eye. This was played with 2 other short clips on the old Bozo show. See if you can guess the song from the following 3 pictures....and if you do....can you remember the words?

The two other songs that came along for the ride with this one were "Here Comes Susie Snowflake" and of course "Frosty".

Just 3 days 'till Christmas...
I still have no tree...
It seems too much trouble...
For Romeo and me.

We'll have Christmas dinner.
We'll eat 'till we're full.
We'll then take a nap,
On this Christmas/Yule.

Then I'll go to work,
And Romeo will howl.
He thinks I'll stay home...
If he continues to yell.

But the place where I work...
Can never shut down.
The people I tend to
Need care all year 'round.

It's not really a hospital.
It's not really a school...
But they just need some people,
And that's kind-a cool.

So I head off to work,
With a song in my heart.
And hope that this season,
Fills some place in your heart.

For the best part of the season,
Is the things that we share,
And letting someone special..
Know how much we care.

So here's to all bloggers...
Tho we're scattered about.
May you celebrate giving
"Tis what it's about.
