I have been away for a while, but this is one meme I always enjoyed, and miss.
Thirteen reasons to like getting older
- You can enjoy the "Senior Menu"
- People hold the doors for you
- You can say what you think, and no matter how tacky your comments are, people accept it is because "you're old!"
- You don't have to remember names, and can ask "WHO ARE YOU?" repeatedly
- You get discounts, everywhere!
- Nobody comments on your lack of taste when you wear outlandish outfits.
- You never get carded at the bar!
- You can change the subject in the middle of a conversation, and people just go along with the flow
- You can wear comfortable shoes (sneakers) with everything
- You can take naps in the afternoon
- Little children like you
- You can have selective memory lapses
- You can finally get to retire
